TAILGATE SPOTLIGHT: Darryl Moroz
Edmonton Elks games are exciting, but its the great fans of the Double E that make them a special experience. The gameday experience has become even better with the introduction of the EE Tailgate. Because of our great fans, the tailgate has become the go-to spot for fans to mingle before the game.
Over the course of the season, we want to highlight the incredible Season Seat Members that make the tailgate so special. We spoke with Darryl Moroz to see what they love about the unique to football experience.
What made you want to take part in the EE Tailgating?
Initially I had attended the Tailgate section when it was in the other area and enjoyed it. I felt that moving it to the new area would be better, so I signed up.
What has the gameday experience been like since you’ve started tailgating?
The experience has been great. You get to meet a lot of people, all whom have the same interest, big Elks fans!
What is the best part about tailgating?
Similar answer to the previous question. Meeting a lot of people who all love the Elks, and show it every game.
How has the atmosphere changed from the first year to now?
Seeing a lot of new people walking through the Tailgate section and enjoying the comradery of all the fans.
What would you say to fans who have never checked out the tailgate?
Come down early, say hello, visit people and enjoy yourselves. Everyone is here to have fun and all have a genuine interest in seeing the Elks be successful like the old Esks days
