1964 Edmonton Eskimos
Neill Armstrong is named head coach, and the club adopts a nine-member Board of Directors “The Nervous Nine” to help manage business operations.
In Armstrong’s first season the team finished with a 4-12 record and fourth in the Western Conference, missing the playoffs for a third year in a row. Bill Tobin had 497 rushing yards to lead the team and Tommy Joe Coffey recorded 1,142 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
