The Elks have put particular emphasis on playing a positive role in the community. The tradition lives on as Elks players do their part to address social causes that will make our community a better place. Through the Champions in the Community program, Elks players, coaches, staff and cheer team members support community initiatives that strive to:
- support amateur football in Northern Alberta
- educate youth on the importance of nutrition and an active lifestyle
- share powerful messages on anti-bullying
- encourage children to stay in school
