Elks defensive lineman J-Min Pelley partnered with Stollery patient Mikaela to design his cleats. Standing six foot five and weighing in at 330 pounds, Pelley is in his second season with the Elks, after having an All-Canadian university career at the University of Calgary. The Stollery Children’s Hospital is a cause very close to his heart. Eugene Lewis: September 9 vs. Stampeders

Elks All-Star wide receiver Eugene Lewis partnered with Stollery patient Coy to design his cleats. The outer side of each cleat features a lightning pattern with Lewis’s No. 87, and the inner side features a brain design to represent the craniotomy that Coy successfully underwent at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

Manny Arceneaux: August 27 vs. Redblacks

Elks wide receiver Manny Arceneaux partnered with Stollery patient Charlotte to design his cleats. The left cleat features a spider web design with Charlotte’s name, and the Stollery bear on the side. The right cleat features a zigzag and polka dot pattern with a bouquet of roses wrapping around the heel, while “9000” is inscribed on the side of the front in honour of Manny recently becoming the 30th player in CFL history with 9,000 receiving yards.

Kevin Brown: July 29 vs. Lions

Elks running back Kevin Brown partnered with Stollery patient Ben to design his cleats. The cleats feature cheetah print and a camouflage band running around the sole, as well as spider and cheetah print on the bottom. Each cleat is adorned with a goal post on the toe and initials on the heel: BT for Ben on the left, and KB for Kevin Brown on the right. Jake Ceresna: July 13 vs. Ti-Cats

Elks All-Star defensive lineman Jake Ceresna partnered with Stollery Kid Zach to design his cleats. The cleats feature a green and gold camouflage pattern, representing Zach’s passion for hunting. Zach grew up playing hockey, and his love for the sport is represented with crossed hockey sticks on the left toe. His jersey number 6 also appears on both toes. Elks standout linebacker Nyles Morgan partnered with Stollery Kid Finley to design his cleats. The cleats are adorned with sea creatures, representing Finley’s passion for marine life. There’s even a giant whale devouring a boat (perhaps a boat of Argos?). The side of the right toe features scales subtly painted into the surface.
