Edmonton Elks quarterback Tre Ford has earned Player of the Week honours for Week 11 of the 2023 CFL season.
The league announced its weekly Honour Roll powered by Pro Football Focus (PFF) on Tuesday. Elks wide receiver Steven Dunbar Jr. and offensive lineman Tomas Jack-Kurdyla also made the grade.
Ford led Edmonton to its first win of the season last Thursday, 24-10 over Hamilton at Tim Hortons Field. The second-year pivot from Niagara Falls, Ont., completed 13 of 18 passes for 174 yards with two touchdown tosses to Dunbar and zero interceptions. Ford also rushed for 60 yards on five carries.
Four of Ford’s completions went to Dunbar, who finished the game with 93 yards receiving. Jack-Kurdyla and Edmonton’s offensive line ensured Ford had lots of time to operate, limiting the Ti-Cats to just one sack in the game.
