Four EE Football Team Players named to CFL All-Decade Team

The EE Football Team has had four players named to the CFL All-Decade First Team and another nine players named to the CFL  All-Decade Second Team.

 

DL Almondo Sewell

Sewell has been a member of the EE Football Team since the 2011 season. During his tenure with the club, the Akron product has amassed 282 defensive tackles and 60 quarterback sacks. He has been named a CFL All-star six times and a West Division All-Star seven times. Sewell is a 2015 Grey Cup Champion.

 

SB Adarius Bowman

Bowman joined the EE Football Team from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2011, playing seven seasons with the club. In his CFL Career, he amassed 652 receptions for 9,491 yards and 49 touchdowns. Bowman was named both a CFL all-star and West Division All-Star three times in his career. Bowman is a 2015 Grey Cup Champion.

 

FB Mike Miller

Miller was a member of the EE Football team from 2011 until 2016, winning a Grey Cup with the team in 2015. The full-back is well regarded for his contributions on special teams, recording 185 special teams tackles in his nine-year CFL career. Miller is a one-time CFL All-Star. Miller is a 2015 and 2019 Grey Cup Champion.

 

DT Ted Laurent

Laurent was drafted by the Edmonton Football Team in the second round of the 2011 CFL supplemental draft. The defensive tackle played three seasons in Edmonton and was named a West Division All-Star once. In his CFL career, he has been named a two-time CFL All-Star and a four-time East Division All-Star. Laurent has accumulated 186 defensive tackles and 48 quarterback sacks in nine CFL seasons.
