
What have you been up to this off season?
Working out at Powerhouse Training in London. I’ve been here for five or six years. I’ve also been working as a personal trainer and volunteering some time with the children’s hospital.
What made you decide to volunteer at the local children’s hospital?
My first season with the team I was involved in a lot of community outreach events and when I went home to London for the offseason, I wanted to stay involved in my community. I do a lot of fun stuff with the children including dressing up as the mascot, Dr. Beary Goode.
Have you taken any exciting trips or done anything cool?
Right after the season, I went with some McMaster Football friends to St. Lucia. It was a lot of fun.
How frequently do you work out and train for the upcoming season?
I’m working out five times a week. I also add in some extra cardio sessions when I can.
What do you miss most about Edmonton?
I miss the summer festivals and long night where the sun stays up past 10 o’clock at night.
What are you most looking forward to in the 2020 season?
Just having another year with the guys and working toward to the Grey Cup with our new head coach. We’ve got lots of the core are back, so I’m looking forward it.
