Today, the Canadian Football League named wide receiver D’haquille ‘Duke’ Williams to the CFL All-Star Team for his performance in the 2018 season.
CFL All-Stars are selected by CFL head coaches and voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada.
This is the 56th year in which the CFL has named an All-Star team in recognition of the season’s best performers.
In total, 59 voters selected 27 All-Stars.
D’haquille ‘Duke’ Williams | Wide Receiver
Williams broke into the league in 2017 but made his mark on the CFL in 2018 where he appeared in all 18 games for the Green and Gold finishing in first place in the CFL in receiving yards (1,579), tied for first with receiving touchdowns (11) and in second place in yards after the catch (425).
This is Williams first CFL All-Star award. He was also named a West Division All-Star for the first time in his CFL career.
