Whats Happening on Game Day

After the longest winter of life, summer is (finally) here and Eskimos football is back. Training camp is underway and pre-season action kickoffs of this Sunday, May 27 at 3 p.m. against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Whether it’s your first time to The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium (welcome)  or your 25th season (we heart you), here’s a few things to keep you in the know of what to expect this season.

TICKETS

Tickets start at just $33.  Group and premium seating options are also available. Click here find your seat.

GETTING TO AND FROM THE GAME

  • FREE TICKET TO RIDE, PRESENTED BY MOLSON COORS — Eskimos game tickets are a free ticket to ride on Edmonton Transit Service two hours before and after home games.
  • PARK AND RIDE – Hop on an ETS bus for non-stop direct service from six different areas of the city. Park and Ride service starts 90 minutes before game time. Click here for details
  • BOSTON PIZZA ESKS EXPRESS — $40 gets you a lower bowl ticket in the BP Party Zone, transportation to and from the game, a Molson beverage, a pizza bread, and a chance to play the BP Shuffle.
  • PARKING – Season Seat Holders can park at the Edmonton Expo Centre and Borden Park (a short walk from the game) for just $10.  Show your card on game day to secure the special pricing. Non-season seat holders are welcome too for $16.
  • BE A GOOD FAN AND NEIGHBOUR — Residential parking restrictions in effect on game day. Please park legally and treat the community like it’s your own.

 

PRE-GAME ENTERTAINMENT

  • COORS LIGHT FAN FEST – The pre-game beer garden returns. Admission is free with a game ticket and opens two hours before kickoff. Head to Gate 11 on the east side of the stadium (LRT side) and join the party. Get the party started with $5 beer and $2 hotdogs all season long.
  • LIVE DJ FOR PLAYER WARM-UPS – J-Mello returns to DJ live during player warm ups, gates open an hour before kickoff. Grab a beverage (or adult beverage) and groove in your seat.

 

WIN $$

The ever-popular 50/50, presented by belairdirect is back. Last year, we set a record for the largest take-home jackpot of $435,919. Get your tickets from sellers on the concourse for your chance to win.  One for $5, three for $10 or ten for $20. Then, watch the ticker above the video board to see the jackpot climb. The winning ticket number is announced in the fourth quarter.

HALFTIME ENTERTAINMENT
The fun doesn’t pause when the game does. We have the annual halftime show featuring the adorable Eskimini along with the Eski-Juniors and Eski-Ladies, minor football showcases and MUCH more. Stay tuned for some exciting announcements.

LISTEN AND LOOK

The all-new Esk Force Drumline and Hype Team make their debut for the 2018 season. Check them out outside the stadium pre-game and around the concourse during the game.

KIDS CLUB, PRESENTED BY THE BRICK

For just $10, kids under 12-years-old get on-field access post-game to run for a touchdown and meet players for autographs. You’ll also get an exclusive Kids Club kit that includes a limited-edition Esks item, membership card, lanyard and access to exclusive contests and offers.

BRICKLEY’S KNOTHOLE CORNER

The new Brickley’s Knothole Corner family area in and around Gate 2 opens one hour before kickoff for every home game. This special section includes interactive children’s games, stroller check, face painters, an information booth, a dedicated family merchandise store, family friendly inflatable games and game-specific entertainment during all Eskimos home games.

Single game tickets in Brickley’s Knothole Corner, located in sections BB and CC (near the family area in the lower bowl), are just $12 for children (aged 12 and under) and $32 for adults. Single game tickets for games versus Calgary and Saskatchewan are $16 for children and $36 for adults. Prices exclude ticket fees.

NISSAN CORNER
Test your football skills – Can you throw like QB Mike Reilly or kick like Sean Whyte? You’re about to find out. Located in the southeast corner on concourse. All ages are welcome.
