The Edmonton Eskimos sign former Green and Gold national defensive back Cauchy Muamba and national long snapper Levi Steinhauer.
Muamba was a member of the Eskimos from 2014 – 2016 where he appeared in 40 games making 47 tackles and recording three interceptions. Muamba was a member of the 2015 Grey Cup winning team where made three tackles in the victory.
Muamba was drafted by the BC Lions in the fifth round (34th overall) and spent his first three seasons there playing in 33 games and recording 65 tackles and intercepting three passes. In 2013, Muamba was a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers where he appeared in 16 games and made 56 tackles and recording two interceptions.
The Edmonton Eskimos also add international defensive lineman Devonte Fields.
