Labour Day Rematch

The Edmonton Eskimos host the Calgary Stampeders this Saturday, September 10, in the Labour Day Rematch, presented by Nissan, at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.  Kickoff is 5 p.m. MT.

Park and Party 

For the second consecutive year, the Eskimos will host Park and Party at Northlands before the big game. Gates open at Noon. Free parking is available throughout the game with a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank. Park and Party features a BBQ, beer gardens, Eskimos themed horse races and an autograph session by Eskimos legends.


Fan March

The newest Labour Day tradition, the Eskimos Fan March, will launch once again at 3:30 p.m. from Northlands, following Park and Party. The event, led by Rio Olympian Michelle Plouffe, will march fans and the Eskimos Cheer Team to the stadium via 112 Avenue. Last year, nearly 300 people made the march.


20,000 Free Thundersticks Bring the Noise

Courtesy of Nissan, 20,000 free thundersticks will be handed out stadium gates to help fans bring the noise for the Battle of Alberta.

$20 Tickets — Show your More Rewards card for $20 Save-On-Foods Family Huddle tickets, an alcohol-free, general admission section.

$99 Family Pack — four tickets to the Knothole Section, four hot dogs and four soft drinks for just $99. Eskimos family packs are available by calling 780-448-ESKS (3757).


Live DJ for Player Warm-Ups and During the Game

J-Mello will DJ live from the Coors Light Party Deck in the lower bowl during player warm ups, beginning when gates open at 7 p.m., and throughout the game.

Pre-Game Entertainment

  • Coors Light Fan Fest – DJ Tyco returns to spin the latest and greatest at this pre-game beer garden. Admission is free with a game ticket and opens two hours before kickoff.
  • Larger than Life Double-Header: The Winnipeg vs. Saskatchewan game will show on a larger-than-life video wall at Coors Light Fan Fest ahead of the Eskimos vs. Stampeders match-up.

Nissan Halftime Show

Edmonton minor football and flag football will be showcased on the field during Nissan halftime with a mini game.

Post Game Pyro Show

The night sky will light up once again post-game with a musical fireworks show.

Fan Gear Sidewalk Sale

Esks fan gear is on sale outside Coors Light FanFest (across from the LRT station). The sidewalk sale features the deepest discount of the season and begins two hours before kickoff.

Notable

  • Third Jersey Makes Season Debut — The team will don the third jersey for the first time this season. They will wear them again on November 5 to close the regular season at home.
  • Anthem Singer — Continuum of Men will sing the national anthem alongside Brenda Clarice who will perform the anthem in sign language.

Getting To and From the Game

  • Free Ticket to Ride, presented by Molson Coors — Eskimos game tickets are a free ticket to ride on Edmonton Transit Service two hours before and after home games.
  • Boston Pizza Esks Express –$40 gets you a lower bowl ticket in the BP Party Zone, transportation to and from the game, a Molson beverage and an opportunity to play the BP Shuffle.
  • Be a good fan and neighbour — Residential parking restrictions in effect on game day. Please park legally and treat the community like it’s your own.
