What’s Happening on Game Day

Pre-Game Entertainment

Coors Light Fan Fest Cover band Mixtape will play a mix of classic pop and rock, modern top 40, 80 hits and country at this pre-game beer garden. Admission is free with a game ticket and opens two hours before kickoff.

Nissan Halftime Show

The ever-popular Royal Canadian Artillery Band performs during Nissan halftime.

Notable

Pre-Game Flyby with CF-18 Hornets — The Canadian Armed Forces will open the game with two flybys with CF-18 Hornets. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats early and watch the skies as the aircraft fly north to south over The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium and then south to north during the second pass.

Limited Edition Support Our Troops T-Shirts Raise Funds for the Military Family Resource Centre  — Beginning at 6 p.m. volunteers from Capital Power will be at Gates 2, 6, 9 and 13 to collect monetary donations for the Military Family Resource Centre in exchange for limited edition “Support Our Troops” T-shirts. As a thank you, fans who purchase a T-shirt will also receive a free mini football with the purchase of $30 or more at the Eskimos Team Store.

Whats Happening on Game Day

Coin Toss  – Brigadier General Hetherington and a representaive from Capital Power will be on field for the coin toss prior to kickoff.

Anthem Singer – Sgt. Cindy Scott performs the national anthem along side Shauna Durston who will perform the anthem in sign language. The Canadian flag will be held by members of the Armed Forces.

Siren to open the game – Minister Stephanie McLean and Lt. General Christine Whitecross will crank the touchdown siren to signal the opening of the game.

Getting to and from the game

Free Ticket to Ride, presented by Molson Coors

Eskimos game tickets are a free ticket to ride on Edmonton Transit Service two hours before and after home games. Details here.
