The Edmonton Eskimos have signed international defensive end Jason Vega.
The six-foot-four, 255-pound native of Brockton, Massachusetts entered the league in 2010 on the practice roster for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. After spending the 2013 season with NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots, he returned to the Bombers the following season. In 2015, he signed with the Toronto Argonauts.
In 45 career games (28 starts,) he recorded 93 defensive tackles and 19 quarterback sacks.
