Hervey Partners with Xenith to Replace Football Equipment Lost to Wildfires

Eskimos Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Ed Hervey has partnered with Detroit-based football equipment manufacturer Xenith to replace equipment lost in the wildfires for Ft. McMurray Trappers Football.

The donation of 36 Xenith shoulder pads and 36 Xenith helmets will go to players in grades seven to 12. Delivery will be made before the opening of Trappers training camp on August 17.

The families of eight players lost their homes to the fire in May.  To allow time to rebuild, the Trappers season opener will be pushed back to after Labour Day long weekend.

Xenith is driven by a relentless pursuit to change the game and is committed to groundbreaking innovation and product superiority.
