An Evening to Remember

The Eskimos Annual Dinner, presented by Capital Power, is an evening to remember. This year’s must-attend event is October 13 at the Shaw Conference Centre. (Click here for tickets, using the promo code “2015AD”)

It’s been 51 years since the dinner first catered to the local community. In the last half-century, the reasons for hosting have changed.

The inaugural dinner was held back in 1964 with the intention to raise the funds necessary to keep the franchise afloat.

That is obviously no longer the case. Today, the dinner tradition continues to thank the community. All proceeds raised support the TELUS Champions in the Community program that gets the players out to local hospitals and community groups to make an impact on the city they call home.

In addition to players and coaches in attendance, the Edmonton Eskimos will host more than 50 members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The lively evening will feature a cocktail reception where you can meet the full Green and Gold roster (yes – all of them!), the perennial favorite Capital Power photo booth and a performance by the Eskimos Cheer Team.

This year’s special guest making his first appearance at an Eskimos Annual dinner is CFL Commissioner Jeffery L. Orridge.

Purchase a table and request a current Eskimos player to join you as your 10th guest. Tickets are $350 each or $3,500 for a table of 10 (plus GST). Last year’s event sold out so click here to secure your seat now.

It’s sure to be an unforgettable night.
