Northlands Park and Party Launches Eskimos First Fan March

Head to Park and Party on September 12 from 1 – 5 p.m. Edmonton’s largest pre-game patio party kicks off the Battle of Alberta when the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Calgary Stampeders for the second time in less than a week. (See what’s happening on game day here)

On the tarmac at Northlands Park, Park and Party will feature a BBQ, beer garden and live football-themed horseracing. During the Edmonton Eskimos Alumni Race, the final race of the day, jockeys will show their Esks pride by wearing home and away Eskimos silks.

Admission and game day parking is free with a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank.

Following the last race, the Eskimos first ever Fan March will parade to Commonwealth Stadium led by honorary parade marshal Eskimo fan Cathy Perry, former players, the Cheer Team and mascots. The march down 112 Avenue will culminate at home of the Green and Gold for the Labour Day Rematch.  Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
