(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club joins the family and friends of the Honourable Samuel Lieberman in mourning his passing.
Samuel served on the Eskimo Board of Directors in the 1960’s. He was a respected member of the University of Alberta faculty of law and well known for his impressive military and judicial career and his contributions to the community. He received numerous awards and recognition for his dedication to Alberta and Canada, including Canadian Forces decoration the Alberta Order of Excellence.
He is survived by Nancy, his loving wife of 62 years, son Davis, daughters JoAnn McLaughlin, Audrey and grandsons Daniel Lieberman and Sean McLaughlin.
