(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos and Edmonton Oilers played an April Fools joke that would have seen both teams face off against each other in a hockey game at Rexall Place and a football game at Commonwealth Stadium.
There will be a joint donation of $10,000 to the Boys and Girls Club, which will be made by the Eskimos and Oilers. A post on twitter was also sent out by both organizations ending the joke, and announcing the donation.
