(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Women’s Dinner presented by Prism Flow Products returns after a one year hiatus on Wednesday, September 21st.  Tickets go on sale Saturday, July 16th on Ladies Night at Commonwealth Stadium as the undefeated Eskimos host the BC Lions.

Started in 2007, the Women’s Dinner has raised $135,000 in three years for an endowment fund for ovarian cancer research at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women in Edmonton.   Inspired  by the late Pam Monastyrskyj, a long-time Eskimo employee, the Women’s Dinner received the 2010 National Philanthropy Award for Outstanding Volunteer Fundraising Group.

Eskimo Women’s Dinner chairperson Joan Forge says, “We’re thrilled to continue our support of the ovarian cancer research endowment fund and the on-going efforts of the Lois Hole Hospital to battle this terrible disease. Having Prism Flow Products on-board as our title sponsor is a major boost to help us reach our fundraising goals.”
