Edmonton Eskimos

Follow the leader – Now in his 8th year as an Eskimo, WR Andrew Nowacki has emerged as a leader on the football team. By far one of the longest-serving vets, Andrew has been very vocal on the field during camp and has been a big help to the rookie receivers.
Good prognosis – Eskimo DL Julius Williams was back on the sideline today with his arm in a sling after suffering a dislocated elbow in last night’s practice. “The x-rays came back and everything looks pretty good, so I’m excited to get out here and rehab and get back as soon as I can,” says Williams.
Quote of the Day – “At first when I saw the weather and wind I was like I’m kinda glad I’m not playing today.” – QB Ricky Ray on having to watch the first pre-season game from the sidelines in Regina.
