Honeymoon’s Over – QB Kerry Joseph was on his honeymoon when he got the call from the Esks to come to camp. “It was the best wedding gifts that we got. I knew i still had that itch and that desire to still play football,” says the 37-year-old pivot.
Receiver re-signed – The Eskimos announced this afternoon that receiver Jason Barnes has returned to camp. Barnes was released on June 4 following medicals.
Back in the mix – WR Ray Fisher was back on the field taking some reps today after sitting out with a shoulder injury.
Quote of the Day – “This isn’t high school football where (these players are) all we’ve got. You’re paid to come out here and perform well and if you’re not getting the job done, they move on.” – QB Ricky Ray if he expects the starting job coming into camp.
