(Edmonton) The stars of tomorrow hit the field at Clarke Stadium for the annual Boston Pizza High School Camp.
92 players from Grades 10 and 11 will be put through four days of drills by Eskimo players Aaron Fiacconi, Mathieu Bertrand, Kyle Koch, Patrick Kabongo, Corbin Sharun, Marcus Adams, along with guest coaches from the University of Alberta, Edmonton Wildcats and Edmonton Huskies. The week-long camp, which is free of charge to players, wraps up with the Green and Gold game on Friday.
The high school camp was started over 30 years ago by the late Frank Morris, the CFL Hall of Fame player who, as the Esks’ Director of Player Development from 1973 – ’88, set the standard for scouting, signing and developing Canadian talent.
