The Edmonton Eskimos and Supreme Basics teamed up last year for the “Supreme Sack Attack”. For every quarterback sack delivered by the Eskimo defense at Commonwealth Stadium in 2010, Supreme Basics donated $250 to the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
On Friday, January 28, Eskimo offensive lineman Aaron Fiacconi and Debra Lewis from Supreme Basics presented a cheque for $5,500 to Stephanie Perilli from the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
Aaron has visited the Stollery on several occasions since coming to Edmonton in September 2007. Eskimo players and coaches visit the hospital the day before every home game throughout the season. “I’d like to thank Surpreme Basics for sponsoring the Supreme Sack Attack promotion this past season,” says Fiacconi. “Next year we hope we can raise even more money to help these kids get the best care possible.”
