The Elks continued their big first day of CFL free agency, adding national defensive lineman Makana Henry.
Another Chris Jones connection from his time with the Roughriders, Henry heads to the Alberta capital after spending the first five seasons of his CFL career in Saskatchewan. Henry made his CFL debut in 2016, appearing in six games for the Riders. Through 62 career games, the Caledon, Ontario native has 98 defensive tackles, including seven sacks. Last season in 13 games, Henry had another strong campaign, tying his career best with 26 tackles, and recording two sacks.
